Who carries out the tasks
Taskers on Bounty declare a business registered in Israel: an exempt dealer, a licensed dealer or a company. Before they can make an offer they give their business details, pass identity verification and are approved by the Bounty team.
Eligibility is checked again every time an offer is made and every time a Tasker is chosen.
Approval is not a check of professional licences and is not a background check, and the business details are the Tasker’s own declaration. Choose the Tasker who suits the task, as you would with any service provider.
Your address stays private
- Before you choose a Tasker, other users see only the area of the task – a neighbourhood or a city – never a street or a house number.
- The point shown on the map is deliberately moved a few hundred metres from the real location, and distances are rounded.
- The exact address is shown only to the Tasker you choose, only after payment is secured, and only while the task is active.
- Do not put an exact address, an entry code or a phone number in a task’s title or description – those fields are shown to other people.
How payment works
Bounty is preparing for launch and does not yet accept live customer payments. Once live transactions are enabled in the app, payments on Bounty will be processed through an authorized third-party payment provider.
Payment-method details are given to that provider. Bounty does not store card numbers; its systems keep only a reference to each payment, its amount and its status.
- No payment is taken when you post a task.
- When you choose a Tasker, the amount of the chosen offer is secured. Only then is the task assigned.
- If the payment cannot be secured, nothing is charged and the task stays open.
- The payment is released after you confirm the task is done, or automatically if you have not responded within 72 hours of the completion request.
- Reported a problem? The payment stays held until the Bounty team reviews it and decides.
- All amounts are in Israeli New Shekels (₪).
You choose, not an algorithm
For each offer you see the price, the proposed start time, a first name, when the Tasker joined Bounty and a message from them. Nothing is matched automatically, and you are never obliged to pick an offer.
Communication stays in the app
A private chat opens only once a task is assigned, between the person who posted it and the Tasker chosen for it. Phone numbers, email addresses and social-media handles are blocked automatically when they are detected in titles, descriptions, offers and messages – so that contact stays where it can be reported and where help is available.
Reporting, blocking and support
- You can report a task, an offer, a message, a review or a user. Reports go to the Bounty team, and the other person is not told.
- Blocking stops messages and offers between the two accounts and hides each side’s tasks from the other. Blocking does not cancel an active task – contact support for that.
- The Bounty team can remove a task, suspend an account and stop an assignment when that is needed.
- Support is reached from inside the app, or by email at the address on the contact page.
When something goes wrong
If the Tasker has marked the task as done and you disagree, report a problem instead of confirming. The payment stays held, and a member of the Bounty team reviews the case and decides: release the payment to the Tasker, or return it to you.
What Bounty is not
- Bounty is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
- There is no live location tracking: progress updates are reported by the Tasker.
- The service is for people aged 18 and over, and for lawful tasks only.
