How Bounty works
From the moment you post a task to the moment you confirm it is done – step by step.
The process for someone posting a task
Post a task
Describe what needs doing, pick a category and a place, and say when: as soon as possible, today, or at a time you choose. No payment is taken when you post.
Set a price
You name the price for the task, in shekels. That is the price Taskers see.
Receive offers
Approved Taskers can accept your price or offer a different one, with a proposed start time and a short message.
Choose who does it
For each offer you see the price, the proposed start time, a first name and when the Tasker joined Bounty. The choice is always yours, and you are never obliged to pick one.
Payment is secured
When you choose, the amount of the offer you picked is secured through a payment provider. Only then is the task assigned, a private chat opened, and the exact address shown to the Tasker you chose. If the payment cannot be secured, nothing is charged and the task stays open.
The task is carried out
The Tasker reports progress in the app: on the way, arrived, working. For deliveries, the handover is confirmed with a one-time code that is shown to you and given at the door.
Confirm it is done
When the Tasker marks the task as done, you confirm and the payment is released – or you report a problem, and the payment stays held until the Bounty team has looked at it. With no response within 72 hours, the task is approved automatically and the payment is released.
What other users see before you choose
- What needs doing, in which category, when, and at what price.
- The area the task is in and an approximate distance – not the address.
- Your first name and when you joined Bounty.
- Approved Taskers also see the option to accept the asking price or offer a different one.
Good to know
- Until you have chosen a Tasker, you can cancel the task in the app at no charge.
- Editing a task after offers have arrived cancels those offers, so that nobody is held to terms that have changed.
- Chat opens only once the task is assigned, and only between the person who posted it and the Tasker chosen for it.
- After a task is completed, each side can write a review of the other for 14 days. Reviews are seen only by the two of them.
- All amounts are in Israeli New Shekels (₪). The service is for people aged 18 and over.
